Bryan David Klungreseter 02/05/1972 - 12/14/2008 Beloved Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend
CARLSBAD / ESCONDIDO -- Bryan David Klungreseter, 36, died unexpectedly on Sunday, December 14, 2008 in his Carlsbad home. A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, December 22, 2008 at 10a.m. at South West Christian Church, 28030 Del Rio Road, Temecula, Calif. 92590 Bryan had a HUGE heart--especially for the broken- hearted and down-trodden. In lieu of flowers, his family asks for a donation to be made in his honor to: Bread of Life Rescue Mission PO Box 458, Oceanside, CA 92049

A Poem From Bryan's Memorial Program

Don't grieve for me, for now I am free,
I'm following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard His call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
To laugh, to love, to work, to play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way:
I've found that peace at the end of the day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things I too will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much:
Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don't lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up you heart and share with me,
God wanted me now, He set me free!

Looking to Jesus-Hebrews 12:2

It is always the Holy Spirit’s work to turn our eyes away from self to Jesus. But satan’s work is just the opposite; he is constantly trying to make us look at ourselves instead of Christ. He insinuates, “Your sins are too great for pardon; you have no faith; you do not repent enough; you will never be able to continue to the end; you do not have the joy of His children; you have such a wavering hold on Jesus.” All of these are thoughts about self, and we will never find comfort or assurance by looking within. But the Holy Spirit turns our eyes entirely away from self: He tells us that we are nothing, but that Christ is everything. Remember, therefore, it is not your hold of Christ that saves you—it is Christ; it is not your joy in Christ that saves you—it is Christ’s blood and merits. Therefore, do not look so much to your hand with which you are grasping Christ, as to Christ; do not look to your hope but to Jesus, the source of your Hope: do not look to your faith, but to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of your faith. We will never find happiness by looking at our prayers, our deeds, or our feelings; it is what Jesus is, not what we are, that gives rest to the soul. If we are to overcome satan and have peace with God, it must be by “looking to Jesus”. Keep your eye simply on Him; let His death, His sufferings, His merits, His glories, His intercessions be fresh upon your mind. When you wake in the morning, look to Him; when you lie down at night, look to Him. Do not let your hopes or fears come between you and Jesus; follow hard after Him and He will never fail you.
